ArcSoft PhotoStudio was the default photo editing
software installed on my computer, I recently downloaded
and installed an updated version of EasyShare software
that I use with my Kodak camera and I inadvertently
changed the default from ArcSoft to EasyShare and now all
my picture files show up as Kodak instead of
PhotoStudio. I prefer the ArcSoft and would like to
change that back can you tell me how I accomplish this?
I have XP home operating sys.
Thanks

Try this...open an image folder and right click one
of your image files...from the menu, select...Open
With / Choose Program.

Once you have the Open With screen, select the
program of your choice and be sure to check the
box that says: "Always use the selected program
to open this kind of file".

Some more info:

If you download and run the FixPix2.inf script it will
reset your image associations to Windows Explorer.
(If your OS is WinME use FixPixME.inf)

Also...in WinXP, you can go to...My Computer /
Tools / Folder Options / File Types tab...
