Hi,

I would like to amend the Field Heading in a pivot. Currently they read
Sum Of Actual
Sum Of Forecast

How can i drop the "Sum of" please?

Thanks
John

select the sum of actual | right click | field setting | change name
field as u want | ok

Much the same as you would any other cell.
Type over it; or
F2 to edit; or
Use Replace function to change "Sum Of " to blanks. In some instances, you
may get an error msg that "Actual" already exists. In that case, change it to
"Actuals" or "Actual " (with a space at the end). In some versions of Excel,
however, if the new name is completely unrelated to the data source, if
you're as forgetful as me, you may have to poke around some to determine
which column your data actually comes from.
