change name of rows and columns

I opened and existing worksheet and the rows and columns are all labeled
1,2,3,4, etc. and 1,2,3,4, etc. instead of A,B,C,D, etc. How do I chage it
back? The formulas are all changed to the (R,C) formulas intead of as using
normal cells.
 
Sounds as though you're talking about Excel. This newsgroup is for questions
about Access, the database product that's part of Office Professional. The
Excel newsgroups all start microsoft.public.excel
 
Not sure about English names for the menus, but:

Tools\Options\General
then uncheck "L1C1 reference style"
