The only way to change the "Upgrade Version" Product Key to
the "Full Version" Product Key is to perform a "Repair Install"
using the new "Full Version" Windows XP Professional CD
and the Product Key that came with it.

I had a ton of problems converting from Win2K to XP Pro. As part of the
process, the conversion went bad into a loop rebooting with a blue screen
error that I could not rectify.

I started again with an Upgrade CD and was finally able to get back working
but I need to change the key value to the initial full XP Pro CD before
registering since that is the new CD.

How can I change the key value from the already registered Upgrade CD key to
the new full version XP Pro unregistered key?
