change/isable keyboard shortcuts

Hi

I need to enter text in a form. That text contains some special characters
like german quotes that have to be accessed with keyboard shortcuts. On my
notebook I have a Fn key for emulating the number block. So the shortcut for
the quote is:

Alt-Fn-0171

Now that seems to interfere with browser built-in shortcuts; typing that
combination ends up in loading the home page instead of filling in the
form - which is very annoying.

Is there any way to change or disable the keyboard shortcuts in IE6 on Win
XP?

Thanks for a hint.

Thank you Peter.

I have this control panel but there is nothing active in it; so I don't
think this is my problem (there's nothing to deactivate at least) . As the
shortcut loads the home page defined in the internet options I think it must
be defined either in IE or directly in WinXP.

Every professional software has a dialog to edit the keyboard shortcuts. But
where is it in IE6?
