keyboard shortcuts

If IE can use favorites to go to a website, why doesn't the keyboard shortcut
I set up work? When I right click on an internet favorite and choose
properties, I type in a shortcut key, it will work. But when I've started my
compter next time, the shortcuts don't work. Does anyone know why it does
this????? It still keeps the shortcut keys to my programs that I set up.

Most keyboards have their own drivers/software to be able to invoke what you
are trying to do with the keyboard. See if your keyboard came with some type
of "multi-media" drivers that need to be loaded.
