How to change the default JPG image browser from Windows Pictures and
Fax viewer to Office Photos Editor for ALL USERS (not just Admin)
in explorer view or email attachment opening in Outlook Express

I have logged on as a administrator and change the program to use
photo editor (It work for administrator only)

Michael,

How do I "actually" change the default in outlook? Currently the images are
opening in Dell Image and it's horrible quality. I would like to change the
default to Picture-it? Do not know where to begin.

First, look to the options/properties of the viewer that you want to use,
and see if it can be configured to handle the image type - probably .jpg.
UNcheck that choice in the Dell Image program.

If this does not succeed, open Windows Explorer and click the TOOLS menu.
Click FOLDER OPTIONS, then FILE TYPES tab. Select the extension - in the
list of file types - and click on ADVANCED. Edit it to point to the image
viewer of your choice...being careful to write down the info that is
already there, before making changes - just in case.
