Change 'global' view

How might i create a view for my Inbox, under which i have several
folders, so that all folders show the same columns, font type and size,
grouping, and formatting etc as each other?

At present, i can only seem to change each folder independently of the
others, surely there must be a way to change it 'globally' so one view
can be applied to all folders?

OK, so it clearly can't be done ....
