Change drive description

I've bought a DVD drive. It's showing up in Windows Explorer with the
description as "CD Drive". Is there a way to rename the drive description to
read "DVD Drive". I tried RMB on the drive letter => Properties but it won't
allow me to rename the drive like I can with my fixed hard drive. Any ideas
on how I can rename this drive to a better description?

As far as I know, you can't through normal ways. That might be in the
registry, but I doubt it. If you use Resource Hacker to look at some main
dll files, you might find it, but it wouldn't be easy.
