Change a file extension?

Word keeps saving my extension as .docx. I need them to be .doc. How do I
convert the document extension?

Actually, it sounds like Little Mama is using Word 2007. So, she'd need to
click Office - Save As. (The Office button is in the upper left corner; some
say it looks like a pizza, but I think I'll stick with Faccia Luna for my
pizzas).

Additionally... if you want Word to default to saving as .doc (Word 97-2003
format), choose Office - Word Options - Save tab, and set "Save files in
this format" to Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc).
