cfs2 dp2 interface with xp

i can't seem to get connected to rooms anymore since i switched to
bellsouth.net I can get into lobby of cfs2 in the zone , I can even get into
room, but when i try to join it appears to get to sunrise screen,then that as
far as it goes, sometimes it give me an error msg something like "unable to
connect with dp2 interface" what is dp2 and why am I having a problem now i
was fine when i was with other isp. and it works fine when i just playing the
game offline, i can play card games and backgammon fine on zone just can't
get into cfs1 or 2... firewall is off and as far as i know ports are open.....

If your setup hasn't changed at all and it's just the ISP has changed it
could well be down to them, I've not idea how Bellsouth work but some ISPs
do block certain ports so that could be a factor.

Hi Earl,

To solve the Problem Getting DP2 Interface error visit:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=285862

Basically, you'll need to give BellSouth a call and ask them
to disable the NAT firewall in their DSL modem. If they
aren't certain if the modem uses NAT, connect using dialup
to prove that the issue isn't caused by Windows XP.
