CF and HDD with EWF protection

Hello all,

I have a speculative question about a future project that I am being
lumbered with.
We are intending to build a XPe OS image for a 2 Gb CF card. I have
done this before so this should not be a problem.
However, they also want to put an 80Gb SATA drive into the unit with
all the applications and multimedia files on.
Is there a way to create a EWF partition on the CF to protect both the
CF and the SATA drive as well?
I assume there must be but as I haven't done this before and was just
wondering if it is possible before the project starts and I have to
make it work!!
As I say, this is just a "what if" question at the moment so there is
no urgency to it.

You can certainly create several EWF protected partitions by setting
the parameters in the Enhanced Write Filter component. I believe that
you can have several disk overlays, but only one partition can be
protected using a RAM or RAM/REG overlay.

This was true in pre-SP2 times.
With EWF on SP2 and later you can have multiple volumes protected by EWF in RAM Reg mode:
