Certain button don't work

In my IE6, for the last couple of weeks, buttons such as Go or Next or
Continue buttons no longer
function, thus I can't get into the continuing pages of information. Was is
the solution. The buttons "depress" button no action happens. I use Norton
AV, windows update, Ad-aware faithfully.
Is the simple solution to re-install IE6?

Mark,i've been duked on by Norton B-4.That's why i

switched to computer associates.1 year free AV and
firewall caught several virus Norton wasn't listing,had a
heck of a time till i got CA,from microsofts update
page
