Please check if autoplay is enabled or not. NERO usually disable the
autoplay features and you can enable that by doing:
Go to CD ROM DRIVE and right click mouse go to PROPERTIES > AUTOPLAY. Enable
the settings again also try to update the driver for your HP 9300i CD
Writer.
IF the above doesn't work then please do the following:

1. Click Start, click Run and type REGEDIT in the Open box. Click OK.
2. Find the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSettings\Services\CDROM
3. Choose the registry and see if a value named AutoRun exists.
4. If yes, modify the value to 0; otherwise, let us add the value.
5. Right-click in the right pane and choose New | DWORD value.
6. Name the value AutoRun and set its value to 1.
7. Close Registry Editor and then restart the computer.

I am having problems with my CD Writer. I have a HP 9300i CD Writer. It
can Auto-play PC games after about a minute. It used to play music CDs and
auto-play with Windows Media Player10. My nephew download Nero on my system
and I took it off. It will no longer play music CDs. Also, inside Windows
Explorer, nothing will show under the drive when I have a music CD in the
unit.
