CD driver problem - need help

I have a NEC ES system with two CDs - one Hp cd-writer 9300i and the other
Hitachi DVD GD 2500. each time I uninstall and try to let XP rebuild, all I
get is an exlamation point in the Device Manager.

Where can I get the drivers? Any ideals why this is happening?

John, try uninstalling the IDE channel they are on. Primary or Seconday.
DON'T Uninstall the channel
your hard drive is on.

I have done that - no luck, keeps coming up with a message device not
recogonized.

Do you think the IDE channel is blown? They are both on the same channel.
