CD Won't Play On One Player Only

Put some music onto a CD. It will not play on my main CD player but it is fine on the PC, the car CD player and a couple of portable CD players.

The main CD player plays all other CDs and the CD itself is of the type I use all the time, namely Maxell.

This seems very illogical to my brain and I wonder if anyone can come up with an explanation .

What is the main CD player and how old is it? Does it play other burnt audio CD-R's?

Some CD players, especially earlier generation players, are fussy about playing home burnt CD's. Try a different brand - Verbatim are good.
