CD wont boot

Here's what i've got, i had a computer that i made my self.
I had SOYO Motherboard and P4 2.4c. I replaced the
motherboard to Intel D875PBZ and procrsor to P4 3.0, and
kept the same hard drive, i hooked everything up started
the system, but it wouldnt work, i tryed to reinstal the
windows XP but it wouldnt boot from CD, and i dont have
second pc to make floppy boot discs, what can i do.
Also when i placed Windows xp cd into my laptop and went
to see what was wrong with cd, it wouldnt read the cd, No
cd image like it blank.

to boot from CD you need to change BIOS settings to make

1st boot from the CD otherwise it will boot from either
floppy or HD first.

i ytied it it says No HRD DRIVE FOUND
