CD-RW Folder not working

Hi,

On my WindowsXP computer I used to be able to drag files
to CD-R's or CD-RW's and then write files to CD using
built in software on WinXP.
Now it isn't working,

I can't open blank CD's from MyComputer at all, it says
Incorrect FUnction.

I cannot add files to non-full CD-RW's it says you cannot
add to this CD-ROM drive, files on this CD-ROM drive are
read only

and also when a CD-RW is in the drive, it no longer shows
the option to erase data on CD.

I don't knwo why this has happened, the same thing has
happened to my Desktop PC with WinXP as well before and
only worked after a complete Reboot. I think it may be
something to do with downloading updates as it always
seems to have happened after WIndows has been updated.

Any help on fixing this is greatly appreicated.

First thing...
Be sure that record is enabled on that drive. In Windows Explorer,
right-click on the drive letter, click PROPERTIES|RECORD tab.
