deleting files from CD-RW

Hello,

I am using XP Home SP2. I can write to CD-R's and CD-RW's but Explorer will
not let me delete, or even uncheck as read-only, any files from a CD-RW.
How do I do this since it does not work as professed?

All files on a CD-R or CD-RW are "read only". In order to modify
a file, you'll have to copy it to your hard drive and then make changes.

You'll need a third-party program in order to delete individual files:

My, that was a quick reply, Thanks!
