cd rom used to load now dosn't

The cd rom used to load. It loads in the bios but doesn't
appear in explorer or in disc management after 2k finishes
booting up. I've tried 2 different known good other cd
drives, still will not come up in 2k explorer. Anybody
with an Idea would be appreciated. Thanks
