CD-rom (code 32 error)

Help!
I can't use my Cd-rom.
Cd-rom device status: code 32
A driver for this device was not required,and has been disabled.

I know that's not a cd-rom problem,somebody did it to me,please HELP.

Do some Google keyword searches on 'code 32' and the like. Check out the
hit I got at the address below & what I found there (in the quotes) &
there's more under the quote suggesting a register edit. You also need to
search the Microsoft Knowlege Base the same way. Be persistent. Be
purposeful. Be careful. Be patient. You can find the answer out there!
(Incidentally - I discovered sometime ago that Roxio software is a mangy
dog)
