CD RECORDER

I have Power Point 2003 on both my desktop and my laptop. When I package for
CD on my desktop the following error comes up "The files cnnot be cop8ied
because no recording device was found" My laptop has no problems and records
to the CD. I have a Sony DW-Q28A and I know it works. Any suggestions would
be appreciated. A technician suggested that I remove my Roxio program but
that did not help

Not really a diagnosis but as a workaround you could try:

Package for CD > choose folder option
Then burn the CONTENTS of the folder using your normal burning program.
Don't burn the folder itself.
