CD re writer

My CD will not copy any files it just tells me there is no cd in the writer
please insert a CD-R

You probably need a better cd-r driver.

Would appreciate if you could tell where can I find this kind of driver which

Another possibility is that you are using it as a 'Network Share" which has read only status for access.

Such drives generally should *not* have any specific driver installed to
be usable as a reader in XP. Then needed drivers for burning are
installed when you install the burning software package you obtain
