Hi all.

I have Windows Vista RC1 installed on my PC.

The printer I use is an Epson Stylus PHOTO R300.

Along with the printer drivers I also have Epson PrintCD installed.

However when i attempt to print onto a printable cd from PrintCD i get a
printer error.

Any ideas?

I'm on RC2, and having problems also. I'm using the built-in drivers, which
appear to support all the necessary features, and I installed Print CD from
the Epson Printer Software CD.

What seems to be happening is that the driver is not telling the printer to
print on the CD - it's telling it to print on paper. The printer has a
"Close the CD/DVD guide" error message on its display.

You can force the output media to be CD/DVD (Print.. / Printer Settings /
Properties... / Pick Manual and CD/DVD), but this is an extra step that I
did not have to do on XP.

Vista strikes again...

Oops, spoke too soon. The printer was making all the correct noises, so I
assumed all was well.

The printer missed most of the DVD. It may be possible to play around with
the alignment settings to get it to work, but I don't have time right now...

I am using an Epsom R200 with RC2, I used the Cd with the Printer and
installed the drivers etc from the CD. I have everything working normally
except I cannot see the Epsom monitor. CD/DVD's print normally and not having
the monitor is not such an issue for now. I am sure it will be sorted by
Epsom at Vista release.
