CD/DVD problems

I was trying to copy a mov file to a DVD via Roxio, but never got it to work.
Something about not enough space (which I know is a lie) or an invalid
format. Now, when I load a CD into my drive, and click on My Computer then
the Drive, I get a window of nothing, even though I know there are files are
on the CD. I am getting no errors, I just see a blank window when I double
click a CD to see what is on it. The drive is a CD/DVD Reader/Writer.
Please help.

You may need to show hidden and system files to see the contents of the disc.
Go to the Tools menu at the top of the window and select Folder Options.
From there, select the View tab and under Hidden Files and Folders select
Show hidden files and folders. If the disc has been previously written to,
there may very well not be enough space left on the disc, or the disc may
have been created for a one-time burning session only in which case, you will
need to use a new CD/DVD. Hope that helps.

After re-reading your post, I believe this (the burning .mov files) may be a
Roxio thing. Maybe the mov file is not supported by Roxio or maybe the file
is not supported to be burned to a CD. If you choose "Data" on Roxio, you
should be able to burn the mov file no problem.

But the files not showing up on a CD is either due to the files being hidden
or a hardware malfunction. If it's a hardware malfunction, this may explain
why you are experiencing difficulties burning also.
