I used an application from symnetec cd called GoBack by
Roxio. Well, the computer left taskbar messages that it
needed to be removed. When I went into Control Panel and
removed it, the computer stopped seeing drive D:. I now
have drive E: and F:. E = O, F shows something. Help.
I have used the Startup disk to no avail.

Sounds like windows is corrupted. Open my computer, right
click properties on c or affending drive, click tools,
check errors now , click fix file system errors.

Or if you have norton disk doctor, fix errors with this.

If you have no errors , you might want to restore from
backup
