CD Drive not working... please help

My CD Drive will read audio CD's but when I put a CD-ROM in it doesn't want
to read it... when I click on the drive icon in My Computer it just opens the
opens the drive like I'm going to burn a CD. But there's nothing there.
Please help me... I really wanna install this game :(

The drive may be physically failing, in which case you will fix it by
getting a new one. Fortunately, these are inexpensive and very easy to
install. Use exactly the same jumper settings and cables as on the
existing drive and bolt it in in the same way.

- But first run a cleaning CD/DVD in the drive - it helps more often
than not.
