CD drive not responding

I have a Gateway computer and pc and the CD drive unit was
at first coming out and then retracting over and over
again.Now it is trying to come out but sits there making
clicking noise and the CD tray will not work and move out
to put a CD in .It is the tray in which you place the CD
to download and it won't go in or out.Help.

I don't think you will get any answers here since this newsgroup is about
Access, the database product developed by Micorosorft. Try an different
newsgroup that does concern it self with this kind of things. And try to be
more specific the next time.
