cd burning

Whenever I have an adio cd in my cd-rom and click and
drag to my cdrw it tells me i have files waiting to be
copied, however when i view the files, they aren't the
audio track, it is just the icons.
I am running windows xp home.
 
Those icon in your CDRW are just temporary files. If you
drag files from CD Audio to CDRW, this is not call
BURNING.

You need a software to burn audio cd to audio cd or
unless you want audio cd to mp3 or other digital music
format which is encode.
