CD burner can't find blank CD

Tried to burn some CD's today and suddenly my burner cannot find blank CD's.
Worked just 3 days ago and the only software I've added since then is
Stopzilla. I made sure autoplay is turned off for blank discs. We have Roxio
easy CD creator 6 and sometimes burn directly from itunes. Any suggestions?

ya' gotta give some pertinent info...not just that whatever you posted..
now think about it...and ...repost...OK...

For example ... tried to burn some pictures using roxio. Put in a blank disc
and clicked on burn. It looks for the disc (the light on the burner flashes
and I can hear it working) then it ejects the disc and asks to put in a
blank disc. This pattern repeats. Same thing when using itunes. I'm using
the same brand/type discs that worked previously.

Installed the burner about a month ago and it's worked great until now.

When you say pertinent info are you talking computer specs, etc?
i guess I'm just looking for a starting point or check list of things to
eliminate.

Try right clicking CD writer, Properties, Recording tab, check that
Enable CD Recording box is checked. Something keeps turning mine off.
