DVD Burner won't read CD

Hi everyone, I haven't been able to find anything online regarding this issue
or any other thread, so I figured I'd give someone a shot to help out.
There's a burnt CD that was created a few days ago that one computer won't
read. I've tried the CD on about 5 other computers and they all read the CD
just fine. The computer in question is able to read all disks aside from just
this one. It knows that there's a disk in the drive, it actually asks if I
want to burn information to the disk. It says that there's like 365 MB of
storage left on the CD but none used. It seems like its only seeing the blank
information on the disk only and not the information physically on the disk
already. At first I thought it was the DVD burner, so I replaced it.. no
luck. I also tried re-burning the CD and still no luck. Last thing I tried..
also no luck, was trying a new CD, reburning the information and trying that
one. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

What software did you use to burn the CD ?

Is this a DATA CD or an Audio CD ?

It would appear that the CD was left open for future burning, as in not
'finalized' or properly closed... however that wouldn't account for the
fact that the CD plays elsewhere. Is there some sort of CD burning
program installed on the questionable machine that gives priority to
it's own DATA storage function (catalogue) over that of the OS?

It was a CD with pictures on it. I used Nero Ultra edition to burn the
photos on to the CD, the computer in question only has nero essentials on
it. From looking at the burnt data on the CD it seems like its only seeing
the part of the disk that did not have any data burnt to it.
