Right click My Computer>Manage. On the left pane select Disk Management.
In the right pane select the CD/DVD drive. Right click and select Change
Drive Letter and Path. Assign a drive letter to the drive. P.S. Next time
you post a reference to what you have tried, don't post a link to a
download. post a link to the download site.

There is no cd/dvd drive in right pane. Only my c and d drives are there.
Still cnnot get cdrom and dvd drives to appear? any other ideas?

the duplication:

CD-R drive or CD-RW drive is not recognized as a recordable device
