Hello, I have a question about virtual memmory. I was
online for about 10 hours yesterday, and after about 8
hours, the warning box saying "windows virtual memory
low" came up, and I assume started to fix the problem.
However, I tried to open another program, and the new
program would crash every time. I checked under task
manager, and cpu usage was around 10%, however paging
file was about 600,000 out of 800,000 (aprox).
The largest memory item was a process called CCapp(?).
Can anyone tell me why the memory usage would go higher
the longer I am on? Also, the stated process sometimes
hangs on shutdown.
TIA - Windows xp home - sp2 - dell inspiron - Only had
firefox running.
