ccApp won't shut down when turning off PC

I have purchased a new computer. I have used XP Pro before with little
problems. with this new computer I have come across many, many issues
regarding spyware, etc. i have tried several spyware and adware
programs and even purchased a few. I still get pop-ups even after
running such programs and deleting all TI files and cookies, history,
etc. I now have an issue where the ccApp won't shut down automatically
when turning off my computer. I have norton antivirus and use windows
firewall. Is this a firewall issue? Any help would be appreciated as
I run a home business and this is taking away valuable tiime. Thanks.

You have adware causing the pop ups.
Use programs such as Ad-Aware SE, Spybot Search & Destroy and
SpaywareBlaster
as malware scanners, to remove such malicious pains.
www.spybot.info
http://www.lavasoft.de/support/download/
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

Programs such as Spybot Search & Destroy and HijackThis
can be used to view running proccessess, BHO's and your startup items
to help you find the exact file causing the popups, if anti-malware is
unable to find it.

I use Norton Anti-Virus 2005 and have found that sometimes it does not
install correctly.
Unfortunately, it can't be completely uninstalled via it's uninstall option.
But Symantec does have have an uninstaller that can do it,
Get it. Use it. Reinstall it.

You may have to edit the registry settings for NAV's 2 hidden services to
get the Auto-Protect
Service to load correctly.

Thank you very much for your help. I had to disable the floppy drive
under NAV and that did the trick. I turned off my computer and when I
went to turn it back on Windows would not load. I had to unplug my
computer and start again but then everything worked. Again, thanks for
your help.

I havent used it, so i don't know.
You tell if the hidden services aren't running, if your Event Viewer
contains
error messages for SAVScan, saying it could not be started, with references
to either
SAVRT or SAVRTPEL.

If Carey Frisch's reply solved your problem with ccapp, a re-install isnt
needed.
