Catastrophic Failure & seizing up

Hi...I have been happily using my Vista Home Premium Movie maker to save all
my videos, but suddenly a few weeks ago whilst trying to publish my latest
everything stopped....a dialogue box with the encoding bar shows the jam
happened at 24.8%. I tried again with exactly the same result. So I tried
the same video using Auto Movie Maker and all went well until at 57% I had a
"Catastrophic Failure warning box' appeared saying a DVD cannot be created. I
Thought I would try to find a part of the video that was at fault, but after
slptting the timeline into four sections ...they all saved to DVD perfectly?
I tried the full amount again but it jammed at24.8%. This video is the
smallest in length that ive tried before so its not that.......PLEASE HELP

Hi Pete, Looks like your problem is the same as mine. I find some very
helpful info in another post down from yours subject :Movie Maker "stalls"
while creating the WMV file.
