Catalyst drivers

I recently upgraded my AIW 7200 with a Prophet Radeon 9700. I decided not to
go for the AIW 9700 since I realised that every time I should upgrade the
card, I would lose the TV card included in it. I then bought a Pinnacle PCTV
Pro. I am now very disappointed with the PCTV but too late to complain. What
I want to do is putting back the AIW 7200 in the case when I plan to capture
video. My questions are:

.. Do I need to change the catalyst drivers or is it just possible to keep
them, insert the card and reboot
.. As regards ATI's capture driver and MMC, once installed with the AIW in
the case, will they just remain there when I take the card off to re-insert
the 9700 ?

Strange isn't it but I cannot afford to just pay for another 9700 with AIW

It certainly would be safest to uninstall all the drivers and software and
then reinstall after the AIW 7200 is back in. The ATi drivers and software
are evidently modular, in that they install (or should)different sets of
modules for different OSs and cards: for instance, different TV/Video apps
should be installed for AIW and VIVO cards - sometimes the installer doesn't
appear to identify the card properly and the app won't work.

It's also always a good idea to always have a good system clean when
changing drivers/software.
