Card Reader not detected

Just installed Service pack 1 refresh (did not install service pack
1)......everything works great except my internal combo Floppy A: drive/card
reader is not working. The OS sees the floppy A: drive but not the card
reader, the light on the Card reader is not even on as it was normally.

If I am not mistaken it use to show up as a "USB Mass Storage Device" under
"USB Controllers" in Device Manager and shown as a removable drive in "(My)
Computer"

Service pack 1 sees another external USB Card Reader I have just fine when
I plug it in.

All cabling has been checked.

I have uninstalled the USB Controller and restarted to have it redetect the
controller but still the reader is not detected.

any helpful ideas?

Yes I know Service pack 1 is a Beta (evaluation copy) and there will be
issues as well as expected.

Any comments not related specifically to this issue or suggestions to use
another OS will be kill filed. I have better things to do then piss on each
other.

Call Microsoft for help since it's their OS and update. Now is *this*
comment relating specifically to this issue or will you kill file?
