Capturing Video with Windows XP SP2

With the instalation of Windows XP SP2 RC1 I´m start having additional problems with Windows Movie Maker and the video capture. Is there any workaround for this? Let´s be more specific - the captured image is having distortions

Can you describe what type of distortion you are experiencing during capture
and the settings you are using?
Can you reply back with the details of your pc and hardware?
PC:
How much memory?
processor speed?
Hardware:
What Camera are you using?
What Video Capture Card are you using?
