capture device

I recently installed an ADS usb instand dvd. The device shows up in device
manager but does not show up in scanners and camera's or anywhere else. When
I hit capture in Movie maker, it says there is no capture device installed. I
have reinstalled numerous times but to no avail. Also, does video capture
wizard come with movie maker or not. I cant find it. I have sp2. Help
