Capital "U" superscript "a"

Dumb question - probably know that I need an update but I'll ask anyway:

Run Excel 2003 at Work. Got a new hard drive for my laptop a few months ago
& installed an old version of Office on my laptop - Excel 2002.

Some spreadsheets from Excel 2002 show-up on my work desktop with Excel 2003
& vice versa. However, some show up with "Ua" multiple times in cell A1.
Any shortcuts to fixing this problem? The two worksheets that I use the most
do this everytime. I transfer files from work->home with a Kingston Data
Traveler 16GB. Solutions?

"Ua" in cell A1 is the only data that shows up. Nothing else, no other tabs.
I am not using any macros, only basic mathmatic functions in these
worksheets.

Hi,

Try this:

1. Close the file but keep Excel open
2. Choose File, Open
3. Navigate to the following folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office11\XLStart and if there are any files in there delete them
4. If you don't find the XLStart folder in Office11 try Office10

If this helps, please click the Yes button

Cheers,
