Caonnot get new intsall of Outlook 2003 to open?

New install of Outlook 2003. It tries to configure Outlook. When it does
not it say "Your MIcrosoft Exchange Server is unavailabele". I then try to
work offline but then it says "unable to open your default e-mail folder.
Your profile is not configured". I cannot get into Outlook to make or setup
any of the configurations to make the program start. Please help. Thank you.

Try the initial configuration from Control Panel, Mail Icon. Install your
mail service from there. Make sure you know the Exchange server name (FQDN)
and your user profile name/password.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
