I can't write more then 600 mb on a 700 mb CD without getting a disk full
message. I'm using an HP DVD200i DVD/CD writer. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for the help. WinXP SP2

The brand of writer doesn't matter. It's going to be the software you're
using that does matter. There should be a setting somewhere that lets you
change the disk size.

CDFS (Compact Disc File System) has file and directory limits you may
not be aware of. Directory depth is limited to 8 levels, long file/path
names are limited to 32 characters. There are also some differences in
allowable file/directory name characters. Pehaps you are running up
against one of these limitations?
