cd burning problem

I am using Windows XP Pro with SP2.
In my 700 MB CD-RW I have copied about 70 MB of matters using windows.
Now I cannot copy anything in balance portion of cd.
Though in properties it shows cd contains 70 MB of matter, yet it shows cd
is full.
Is there any way of utilising balance portion of cd without resorting to
formatting the cd.
Your advice in this regard will be of great help to me.
Thanks.

NO, now you have to Reformat the disk and the next time, use another application
if you want to write more than one time and Select the option for multisession
disk and turn off Finalize disk (This can be different for each application). In
my opinion, Nero and Roxio Easy CD Creator is very good and easy to use.

Probably not. You probably opted to "close" the CD which means no additional
data can be added to it. What program did you use to burn it with? Depending
on the software you should find settings to allow for multisession burns.

You cannot do that when you burn CDs with XP's built-in CD Burner that's
why i suggested you to use 3rd party tool when you burn next time.
