Can't view web unless adding index.html

Hi I'm running FP98 for now and up until today I had no trouble
viewing my subwebs. Now, all of a sudden they won't display
unless I add 'index.html' to the URL.

Can anyone explain why this is?

Thanks for any help
 
Sounds like the file name for the default document has been changed on the
server.

If linking to a folder use to open index.htm and now it requires index.html
that's most likely the issue.
