Can't use my spreadsheet

I opened a spreadsheet earlier and then closed it. When I try to open it
again, an error pops up stating the file is in use by me. No one else in the
dept. can open it either. I tried copying it and then deleting, but the
original will not delete because it is in use. I can't rename it either.

How do I fix it?

Try either logging off or rebooting your system and see what happens. I
suspect you have by now though.
