Can't update component w/out manual deleting repository

When ever I try to update a component (in CD, select update, modify the
component, then re-release it) the DB manager fails on the import saying it
can't delete repository files.... make sure you have write acces.... I then
have to delete the repository files, then the import works OK. The database
is on my local machine, and I have admin rights on the machine. I have also
manually disabled the read only bit on the DB repository files. It appears
my database right have been corrupted or something. Is there a way to
re-establish the database rights?

Hi Kevin,

This is FAQ.

XPe tools access you files trough network share name. So you must make sure that you have enough privileges when you access your
files trough network share.
Try accessing your files trough share name and checking whether you have enough rights to delete files. You will see that you do not
have them, so modify access rights for both net share and local users.
