Importing Intel graphics inf into Component Designer

I ran the IEGD 8.0 configuration editor and selected the chipset we are
using, 945GME. I then generated an installation from my package and imported
the inf into Component Designer. That worked OK. I opened up the iegd.sld
component, in Component Designer and I see the driver files listed in the
file section but there's no repository. Do I need to create a repository with
the source pointing to a directory with these driver files and then import
the component into the Component Database manager.? If I don't create a
respoository seems like there's no way for the driver files to wind up in the
build.

Another question: when I ran the Intel config editor, I selected only the
945GME but I see components for all the various chipsets in iegd.sld. Why are
they all in the .sld. Should I delete the components not relating to the
945GME?

Thanks,

Art

ArtRab,

Yes, you need a respository entry for every component, else the drivers
where not found.
The repository is the database behind the Target Designer to store all files
needed.
So the build process will need the files there.

If you do not want to do all the work to componize the Intel drivers and
to add all repository stuff go to the www.xpefiles.com website and
download the XP-Embedded Intel Chipset and GFX drivers.
