Driver Integration issue

Hi,

I build an XPe image and it is working fine. Now I am trying to integrate
new driver with the XPe image. While adding a component using the XPEmbedded
tool, I am facing certain problems.

After importing the inf file (Driver Component) using the Component Designer
and later adding it into the database repository using the Component Database
Manager, the added up component is not getting listed in the component pane
of the Target Designer.

I tried to observe the database repository and the added up files are listed
over there. In spite of this, the component is not getting listed in the
Target Designer.

Any pointers will be helpful.

Is the visibility set to low, i.e. below 100?
Are you sure you successfully imported the SLD file containg the component
using Component Database Manager?

Hi Sean Liming,

I have already tried with setting the visibility to 100 and also verified
the import of SLD but still the problem is not resolved.

Actually it is very strange to observe that the component is at times
getting listed in the component panel and at times does not.

Also if the component is getting listed in the Target Designer, if going
ahead with building the image it gives errors stating the "some files are not
found" but I have already added these files during the component design and
also included the source path of these files in the repository.

Please look if some pointers can be given.
