SP2 Update Fails (cannot delete repository files in target folder)

I've seen this in the past but it was long ago so I don't remember the
resolution (and MS wouldn't make the answer easy to find... no sireee).

I'm installing the evaluation tools and get through the first two disks
successfully (I think).

When I run setup on the third disk, everything is OK until I try to run
"Database Update". I get this message:

"Error: cannot delete repository files in target folder. Make sure you have
write access to the files."

As far as I can tell, I have R/W access to the repository and the folders it
contains.

Help, please? Thanks.

1. Full Control acess to the file share is the first thing to check.
2. You may have upgrade the database engine so you may have to restart the
database engine because of the update.

Thanks, Sean.

When I looked at folder permissions (Properties), they seemed OK.

I had to add myself in the list found under "Sharing".

BTW: Have a couple of your XPe books and I think they will be a lot of help!
