Can't start the Firewall

When I try to turn on the firewall in my Local Area
Connection I get the following error:

-- An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing
was being enabled. The dependency service or group failed
to start. --

I was looking for that service but I can't find it. Hope
someone knows what I need to look for. Thanks in advance.

Hi

Go to control panel and then click on services

Scroll down till you see the ICF/ICS entry and then right click on it and select properties. in the last tab you will see the dependencies. Make sure that all are running. You can do a shutdown and restart on the service to start it and the dependencies will start along with it provided that the particular dependency is not disabled. in case it is disabled you will be notified about it
